Marijuana Tax Raises $1.5 Million For Charity

Aurora, Colorado, uses $1.5 million from pot taxes to help the homeless. Since recreational marijuana was legalized in 2014, Colorado has raised over $200 million for government programs and charities. Aurora alone is expected to raise $5.6 million from pot in 2016. Nonprofits like the Colfax Community Network will use that money in the community, but some still think the end doesn’t justify the means. Should more states in the U.S. legalize recreational marijuana?
