The U.S. Department of Labor published this map showing what’s happening with the minimum wage in each state in the Union. The wage is up in 13 states, stagnant in others, and even below federal levels in some places. Twenty states have enacted minimum wage laws that pay workers above the federal minimum level, while four states have minimum wage rates lower than the federal minimum.
