Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, took to Twitter and declared that he no longer wanted to have his father's last name.
Call him Patrick Shriver from now on. The move came after the former California governor admitted to fathering a child 10 years ago with a house staffer.
Patrick Shriver's Twitter page can be found here.
"I love my family till death do us part," Patrick tweeted, then quoted rapper Fort Minor's lyrics: "Some days you feel like s--t...some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit."
Patrick's comments appeared after his 21-year-old sister Katherine, who tweeted: "This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as I begin to heal and move forward in life. I will always love my family."
Can you blame Patrick? Do you think he'll legally change his name or back off from such a switch?
