Kanye West Deletes Many Of His Trump Tweets

Kanye West has deleted tweets about President Donald Trump.

"I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues," West wrote on a now-deleted tweet Dec. 13, 2016, CNN reports.

"I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change," he added in a later tweet, referring to issues such as violence in Chicago, bullying, and education.

That tweet was also deleted, as was another post featuring a signed copy of Trump on Time magazine with the words, "To Kanye You are a great friend Thanks."

While West has not commented on his reasons for deleting the tweets, many take it as sign he is unhappy with the president.

"He's super unhappy with the president's performance over his first 2 weeks in office," speculated TMZ.

"Kanye's decision to remove the tweets were all his," the TMZ writer later added. "The 'Muslim ban' and other actions have turned him against the prez."

Many on social media agreed, but debated West's real reasons for allegedly no longer supporting Trump.

"Once they got his meds right he realized just how crazy Trump is," wrote one person on TMZ's Facebook page. "Can we get the rest of Trump's supporters on the same meds?"

Some were more cynical, however.

"Now you all knew that would happen, when Trump really didn't welcome him aboard the Trump train as much as he thought he was......he wanted to be part of the White House scene....funny," chimed in another person.

Others, it seemed, were more compassionate.

"Listen, i can't stand him but if it's true he had a change of heart by actually opening his eyes and ears now, which for the life of me he and others didn't see b4, then good 4 him," responded one woman.
