Undocumented Immigrants Continue to Flood US Border; “Small, Lifeless Bodies” Discovered on Banks of Rio Grande

The enormous amount of undocumented immigrant children showing up at the United States' side border show no signs of diminishing, Fox News reports. In fact, the number of immigrants stopped at the border in the past nine months is more than double last year’s total.

Furthermore, according to The Gateway Pundit, several dead children have been discovered “washed up along the riverbank” of the Rio Grande.

These incidents have often gone unacknowledged by the Obama administration.

For example, two weeks passed before the discovery of 15-year-old Gilberto Ramos, whose body was found in the Texas brush and who is believed to have died from the heat, was reported.

As described in Jana Winter’s Fox News report, “a total of 72 [immigrants] came in during the first dark hours of Saturday morning. A third were unaccompanied children.”

Many of these immigrants come wearing life jackets to aid their chances of surviving the grueling journey.

“Many don’t make it across the river,” the report continued, “multiple sources became emotional when recounting their discovery of small, lifeless bodies washed up along the riverbank.”

Fox News reports that many of the illegal immigrants tell Border Patrol and Texas state authorities that they learned from the media in their home countries that if they cross the border into the U.S. right now, “they’d be given papers and allowed to stay.”

Most of these immigrants come from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, and travel up to the border through Mexico via a train known as “The Beast.”
