George Zimmerman, who was acquitted in 2013 of the killing of Travyon Martin in Florida, took to Twitter on Aug. 26 to lambaste President Barack Obama’s handling of the shooting of two news anchors at WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia.
“Pansy Fester lee Flanagan, too much of a daisy to deal w/racism. Murders 2 whites. Hate crime, 100%. Racist Obama says nothing condemning,” Zimmerman first wrote on his Twitter page to his 7,980 followers.
“White woman & man get murdered by a Black P.O.S. 8 hours later B. Hussein Obama the divider still says NOTHING” Zimmerman tweeted from his official account, @TherealGeorgeZ.
Once Obama’s initial statements were made public, Zimmerman criticized those, as well.
“’the # of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism,' — Ignorant Baboon,” Zimmerman wrote later in the day.
In response to another Twitter user who wrote to Zimmerman to disagree with his remarks, Zimmerman used the death of Martin to answer back the next day.
“We all know how it ended for the last moron that hit me. Give it a whirl cupcake,” Zimmerman said.
