Gays Will Weaken U.S. Military with Massages Says Rep. Louie Gohmert (Video)

Rep. Louie Gohmert claimed during a radio interview yesterday that having gay people in the U.S. military will weaken the armed forces because homosexual servicemen will be giving massages.

According to, Rep. Gohmert made his strange prediction on the "Point Of View" program (video below).

"I've had people say, 'Hey, you know, there's nothing wrong with gays in the military. Look at the Greeks,'" said Rep. Gohmert.

"But you know what, it's a different kind of fighting, it's a different kind of war and if you're sitting around getting massages all day ready to go into a big, planned battle, then you're not going to last very long. It's guerrilla fighting," added Rep. Gohmert. "You are going to be ultimately vulnerable to terrorism and if that's what you start doing in the military like the Greeks did."

"People have said, 'Louie, you have got to understand, you don't even know your history.' Oh yes I do. I know exactly. It's not a good idea," claimed Rep. Gohmert.

On the 700 Club today, televangelist Pat Robertson took it one step further and claimed that gay people are "terrorists," "radicals" and "extremists" (video below).

"They are trying to force people who are Christians to marry them or else face jail, to make cakes honoring them or else go to jail and give their sermons over and divulge their innermost thoughts or go to jail, that’s the kind of thing we’re dealing with," claimed Robertson, noted

"These people are terrorists, they're radicals and they're extremists. No Christian in his right mind would ever try to enforce somebody against their belief or else suffer jail. They did that during the Inquisition, it was horrible, it was a black mark on our history, but it isn't being done now," added Robertson.
