Fox News Admits No 'Stand Down' Order on Benghazi (Video)

For months, Fox News has falsely suggested and claimed that someone in the Obama administration ordered U.S. forces to "stand down" during the terrorist attack against the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) was recently debunked by The Washington Post for stating at a fundraising dinner, “I have my suspicions, which is Secretary Clinton told Leon [Panetta] to stand down.”

According to, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace told Rep. Issa today there was no "stand down" order (video below).

"But to be honest, you do not have any evidence that Secretary Clinton told Leon Panetta to stand down," said Wallace.

But Rep. Issa insisted, "Not maybe on the technical terms of "stand down, soldier," but the American people believe [there] is a failure to respond what they could have."
