Florida Governor Rick Scott Booed by Floridians (Video)

Florida Governor Rick Scott (R) is the not the most popular politician in the Sunshine State these days.

Gov. Scott refused to expand Medicaid, via Obamacare, which left one million Floridians uninsured, noted The Washington Post.

In 2011, Gov. Scott signed a law requiring drug testing for all recipients of welfare (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), which has repeatedly lost in court challenges, reports the Miami Herald.

Those may be some of the reasons why Gov. Scott was recently greeted with boos in Orlando, Fla. while attending an event celebrating the city's new Major League Soccer (MLS) team, reported The Huffington Post (video below).

Gov. Scott tried to make some remarks, but was drowned out by his constituents' boos.

According to a recent Quinnipiac poll, Gov. Scott has 47 percent disapproval rating, notes the Miami Herald.

According to, in polling match-ups by Quinnipiac, UNF and PPP against possible Democratic opponent and former Florida governor Charlie Crist, Gov. Scott would lose.
