A former staff member for Hillary Clinton launched a website to bring to light the corruption scandals surrounding President-elect Donald Trump.
The site, called Corrupt.af, was started by Matt Ortega, former Clinton digital director of communications, in an effort to expose the "threat" Trump poses to the country. The site's name ends in .af, which stands for "as f***."
"There are so many problems with Trump's presidency for those who were targets of his campaign, for the very concept of freedom, and democracy itself," Ortega told the New York Daily News on Dec. 9.
The site features a photograph of Trump with the words, "Donald Trump Is Corrupt AF." It also features a caption that says Trump "continues to prove himself to be an authoritarian kleptocrat that's corrupt AF -- and he's only getting started."
Ortega said he funded the site out of his own pocket, and hopes to expose what he claims are conflicts of interests on the part of the President-elect.
"It is clear through the actions of those seeking to influence his administration that they will use his business empire to curry favor," Ortega said. "That's a direct threat. One we, as Americans, believe you'd only see overseas, not here at home, and yet, here we are."
Meanwhile, Trump is under fire for revelations that his campaign had help from the Russian government to sway the election in his favor, according to American intelligence agencies.
"We now have high confidence that they hacked the [Democratic National Committee] and the [Republican National Committee], and conspicuously released no documents," a senior government official told The New York Times.
