Eric Trump Slams Democrats: 'They're Not Even People' (Video)

Eric Trump said on June 5 that he doesn't consider Democrats to be people (video below).

Eric made his comments while attacking critics of his father, President Donald Trump, on the Fox News program "Hannity":

I've never seen hatred like this. To me, they’re not even people. It's so, so sad. Morality's just gone, morals have flown out the window. We deserve so much better than this as a country. You see the Democratic Party, they’re imploding.

They're imploding. They have no message. You see the head of the DNC, who is a total whack job. There's no leadership there. And so what to they do? They become obstructionists because they have no message of their own. They have no solid candidates of their own.

Eric accused the Democrats of "viciously" coming after the Trump family and blamed the media for criticizing his father: "I blame the media because it’s out of control. The way they act are out of control."

The younger Trump also said he was being attacked for his cancer charity, which was a reference to a recent report by Forbes.

The news site reported that the annual Eric Trump Foundation golf invitational has raised more than $11 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

Eric told Forbes: "We get to use our assets 100% free of charge."

However, the news site notes that filings from the Eric Trump Foundation show that the use of the golf course wasn't free because his father's Trump Organization was paid more than $1.2 million for it.

Tax filings reportedly show that from 2007 to 2010, the total expenses of the Eric Trump Foundation golf invitational averaged about $50,000. However, in 2011, the costs for the golf tournament went from $46,000 to $142,000, per the IRS filings of the Eric Trump Foundation.

Ian Gillule, the membership and marketing director at Trump National Westchester golf course during two periods of time from 2006 to 2015, told Forbes:

In the early years, they weren't being billed [for the club] -- the bills would just disappear. Mr. Trump had a cow. He flipped. He was like: "We're donating all of this stuff, and there's no paper trail? No credit?" And he went nuts. He said: "I don't care if it's my son or not--everybody gets billed..."

I saw that Eric was getting billed. I would always say: "I can't believe that his dad is billing him for a charitable outing." But that's what they wanted.

The Trump Organization refused to answer detailed questions.
