Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told security guards to remove a heckler and keep his coat during a rally inside the Flynn Center in Burlington, Vermont, on Jan. 7 (video below).
Trump was touting how he was unbeatable when he stopped and said, “I thought I heard a little voice over there,” notes Mediate.com.
"Alright, get him out!" the GOP front-runner yelled moments later. "Take him out. Get him outta here! Don’t give him his coat! Don’t give him his coat. Keep his coat. Confiscate his coat.
"You know it’s about ten degrees below zero outside. No, you can keep his coat. Tell him we’ll send it to him in a couple of weeks.”
The audience responded with laughter.
In more Trump news, the billionaire reality TV star threatened to pull a $1 billion dollar proposed investment from golf courses in Scotland if he is banned from the U.K., reports Reuters.
British lawmakers are going to hold a debate on Jan. 18 over a petition signed by over half a million U.K. citizens who want Trump banned from their country. The petition was in response to Trump's call for Muslims to be banned from the U.S.
U.K. Home Secretary Theresa May is the only official who could actually ban Trump, but her boss Prime Minister David Cameron does not support barring the real estate mogul from the country.
The U.K. petition to ban Trump published the government's response, which included: "The Prime Minister has made clear that he completely disagrees with Donald Trump’s remarks. The Home Secretary has said that Donald Trump’s remarks in relation to Muslims are divisive, unhelpful and wrong."
