Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump insulted Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and former congressman Anthony Weiner during a speech in Norwood, Massachusetts (video below).
In a reference to Clinton's private email server, Trump said that Clinton did two percent of what General David Petraeus did, but Petraeus' life was "destroyed."
Trump then said that Huma Abedin, Clinton's former deputy chief of staff at the U.S. State Department, is married to "one of the great sleazebags of our time, Anthony Weiner, did you know that?"
Trump then appeared to mock Weiner's scandalous texting, notes Mediaite.com
Trump added that Abedin was "getting classified secrets, she's married to Anthony Weiner, who is a perv!"
Trump also suggested that Abedin was telling Weiner, who Trump called a "bad guy," classified information.
In more marital news, a 1990 article in Vanity Fair written about Trump's divorce from his wife Ivana Trump reported that she "told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed."
Trump was asked by the magazine if his cousin John gave him the Hitler speeches, and stated: "Actually, it was my friend Marty Davis from Paramount who gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and he’s a Jew.”
“I did give him a book about Hitler,” Davis countered. “But it was My New Order, Hitler’s speeches, not Mein Kampf. I thought he would find it interesting. I am his friend, but I’m not Jewish.”
Trump added, “If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.”
