Donald Trump Calls Megyn Kelly A 'Bimbo' For Magazine Photo Shoot (Photos)

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has called Fox News host Megyn Kelly a bimbo for a third time. In his intensifying feud with the reporter, Trump dismissed her credibility by sharing photos of her from a 2010 issue of "GQ" magazine.

The business mogul announced tried to have Kelly removed as a moderator from the Fox News-hosted Jan. 28 GOP debate. After the network refused and released a statement mocking Trump’s “treated unfairly” refrain, Trump announced he would not be participating in the debate, BBC reports.

Fox News released a statement in response.

“Capitulating to politicians’ ultimatums about a debate moderator violates all journalistic standards, as do threats,” the network stated. “We can’t give in to terrorizations toward any of our employees.”

Early on Jan. 28, Trump retweeted an Internet meme of Kelly that included two photos of her posing in a slinky black dress in men’s fashion magazine "GQ," Politico reports.

“Criticizes Trump for objectifying women … Poses like this in GQ magazine,” the meme stated.

Trump added this caption: “And this is the bimbo that’s asking presidential questions?”

The public animosity between the two began during the first Republican presidential debate in August 2015. Kelly asked Trump tough-worded questions about derogatory things he had said about women and his history with the Democratic Party.

Trump clearly took the line of questioning personally and began to openly dismiss Kelly’s credentials as a reporter, even retweeting a Twitter follower’s declaration that she was a bimbo.

He called her a bimbo a second time on Jan. 27, 2016 by tweeting “I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!”

Now, he has called the Fox News host a bimbo for the third time.

Kelly had done an interview spread for "GQ" in 2010, promoting her channel’s brand as well as discussing her career.

Kelly on journalism: “I thought the profession had some nobility in it, but it’s also one in which you have to get your hands dirty.”
