Did Waterboarding Save Lives?

The Justice Department's recently released "torture memos" have confirmed that the U.S. waterboarded detainees in Guantanamo Bay, and that important intelligence was gained through the use of the controversial practice. In response, President Obama said the same information could have been gained without using such harsh techniques, prompting a nationwide debate over the effectiveness of waterboarding. In this video, New York congressman Jerry Nadler argues that waterboarding did not save American lives and is pushing to further investigate and potentially prosecute those who participated.
