Democrat College Girl Kim Stafford Pretends to be Member of Tea Party, Controversy Erupts Online

A picture of Kim Stafford, a sorority girl at the University of Alabama, writing on the back of a pizza box that says "A VILLAGE SOMEWHERE IN KENIA IS MISSING THERE IDIOT!! NOBAMA 2012" recently went viral on viral on Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook.

However, Stafford is not from from Alabama, but rather Boston. She is not in a sorority, but does attend a college in Massachusetts and intends to vote for President Obama, reports

Stafford told "I have been to Tea Party rallies, and I'm the first person to tell you that not all people in the Tea Party are nuts. I've talked to some extremely intelligent, well informed people. But let's face it. When anyone mentions the Tea Party, people think of the extremists."

Apparently,  Stafford was recently invited to her first college party which had a theme: the Boston Tea Party.

While putting together her costume, she created her fake political Tea Party sign. She wrote misspellings on the sign to make sure no one thought she was serious.

She showed the sign to her roommate, who took a picture and put it on her Facebook page, and from there it went viral.

Stafford: "At first I didn't know what she was talking about, and I was excited, because who doesn't want to be Internet famous? And then you figure out why you are Internet famous."

In response, Stafford started her own Tumblr blog to refute the things that were being said about her.

Apparently the response was less than what she hoped. People said she should be raped and that the college girl should kill herself. She was attacked by the left and the right.

"The party I'm a part of because I'm tolerant and I think that homosexuals should be able to get married - the group of people that I associate with - can be just as cruel as the people I disagree with."
