Dad Of Dead Muslim U.S. Soldier Slams Trump (Video)

Khizr Khan, whose son, Humayun Khan, died while serving in the U.S. military, skewered Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on July 28 (video below).

Khizr went after Trump during a speech at the Democratic National Convention, notes

If it was up to Donald Trump, [Humayun] never would have been in America. Donald Trump consistently smears the character of Muslims. He disrespects other minorities, women, judges, even his own party leadership. He vows to build walls and ban us from this country.

Donald Trump, you’re asking Americans to trust you with their future. Let me ask you, have you even read the United States Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy (holds up small copy of Constitution). In this document, look for the words liberty and equal protection of law. Have you ever been to Arlington Cemetery?

Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America. You'll see all faiths, genders, and ethnicities. You have sacrificed nothing.

Trump made news today when he released an attack ad against Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, who is no longer a candidate for the presidency, reports

The commercial, posted on Trump's Instagram page, begins with the words, "Being president, you need to handle pressure."

The video shows Sanders being booed by some of his delegates while he was telling them to support Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia.

The ad also shows a Sanders rally being interrupted by protesters.

The screen shows the text: "It's time for a leader who won't back down," and a clip of Trump accepting the Republican nomination.

Trump has recently tried to woo Sanders supporters, so it's not clear why he would be disparaging their candidate, whom he has referred to in the past as "Crazy Bernie."
