Condoleezza Rice, who served as secretary of state during the presidency of George W. Bush, has just joined CBS News as a contributor.
On Sunday, Rice made her debut on "Face the Nation." She will also be involved in coverage of the inauguration on Monday.
Jeff Fager, CBS news chairman, and president David Rhodes officially announced Rice's new position on Sunday, saying that she will "use her insight and vast experience to explore issues facing America at home and abroad."
