California College Pays $115,000 for Sarah Palin Speech

California's central agricultural region has been lucrative to Sarah Palin. Last year she got $75,000 for a speech at a school there. Sunday, she delivered an address at another college in the area that cost the school $115,000.

The Huffington Post reports that West Hills College said its foundation paid the Washington Speakers Bureau $115,000 for the speech. It's not known how much of that money goes to Palin.

However, the foundation said it has recouped Palin's fee by selling tickets to a private dinner with the half-term Alaska governor and failed 2008 vice-presidential candidate.

Palin's speech last June at California State University, Stanislaus generated controversy over how much she was being paid. That event raised $207,000 for scholarships.
