Appearing on CNN’s Piers Morgan, on Tuesday night, Billy Baldwin said his brother Alec Baldwin may run for mayor of New York.
Billy Baldwin said: “I think on one level it’s very real. I think he’s very committed and extremely bright and knowledgeable and I think he could do it and he could run. On the other hand, I’m not quite sure if he’s cut from the proper cloth because it requires a lot of tolerance.”
Morgan added that Alec Baldwin has a reputation for being “temperamental” and “a bit hot-headed,” but Billy Baldwin countered: “Let me remind you that John McCain and Rudy Giuliani are quite the same and they are very successful and highly effective politicians."
Billy Baldwin also lent his support for President Barack Obama: “I would most definitely like to see him re-elected."
