President Donald Trump's son, Barron Trump, was spotted arriving to the airport in his own Secret Service vehicle, rather than riding alongside his parents.
The 11-year-old was pictured arriving at the Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida, in his own vehicle while his parents, the resident and first lady Melania Trump, were seen arriving separately. The three then boarded Air Force One together.
Barron and his parents were heading back to Washington, D.C., after spending a weekend at the president's Mar-a-Lago estate with Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump and their respective families. The eldest Trump daughter, Ivanka Trump, was not present for the trip.
Barron was pictured wearing a red shirt tucked into khaki pants, and was seen walking alongside his father onto the airplane while his mother walked ahead of him.
Many readers noted that the photos appeared to show a love that President Trump has for his son and his family.
"I rather like Trump although sometimes I wish he wouldn't 'tweet' as much. I think he has great ideas and policies if only the Dems and the media would stop trying to obstruct him. He was elected sh he should be allowed to do things his way. That is only fair. If people don't like it they they can vote for someone else in 2020. Lastly he appears to really love his family and have a strong bond with them. No man who loves and is loved can be all bad," one Daily Mail reader commented.
Meanwhile, President Trump shocked supporters when he endorsed Mitt Romney in his run for a Senate seat. The former presidential candidate notoriously had harsh words for the president, who later slammed the former Massachusetts governor in response.
"[Mitt Romney] has announced he is running for the Senate from the wonderful State of Utah. He will make a great Senator and worthy successor to [Orrin Hatch] and has my full support and endorsement!" Donald Trump tweeted.
Romney subsequently thanked the president for his endorsement.
"Thank you Mr. President for the support. I hope that over the course of the campaign I also earn the support and endorsement of the people of Utah," he tweeted.
President Trump previously called Romney a "mixed up man who doesn't have a clue," and slammed him on Twitter on multiple occasions.
"Mitt Romney, who was one of the dumbest and worst candidates in the history of Republican politics, is now pushing me on tax returns. Dope!" the president tweeted in early 2016.
"Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney, the man who 'choked' and let us all down, is now endorsing Lyin' Ted Cruz. This is good for me," another tweet from 2016 read.
