5.7 Earthquake Rocks So. California and No. Mexico

A rolling series of earthquakes, including a 5.7 exclamation point, swayed and frightened Southern California and Northern Mexico Monday night. The largest quake was described as a "sharp up-and-down-motion" but the following quakes were more like "slow, rolling motions."

No injuries or damages have been reported thus far -- but many individuals in the region said they felt a type of sea-sickness instead of the typical shaking jolt associated with earthquakes.
