A recently released children’s coloring book has pages devoted to trading cards of terrorists.
The book, called “We Shall Never Forget 9/11 Vol. II, The True Faces of Evil – Terror,” seeks to provide talking points for families about terror in the world. The trading cards, perhaps, are just a way to make that conversation a little more fun.
The coloring book is published by St. Louis-based Really Big Coloring Books, Inc., which seeks to stringently be “indifferent of political correctness” in their published works.
The trading card pages are perforated, allowing the kids to pop out their favorite terrorist and trade amongst their friends. Plus, the book also includes some home-bred American terrorists alongside the extremists responsible for 9/11.
The cards include photos of the terrorists, their names and nationalities, as well as their infamous terrorist deed. Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, of course, are featured, along with various other great people and al Qaeda members.
There are also cards devoted to Americans Jared Loughner, the 2011 Tucson gunman, and John Allen Muhammand, the Beltway sniper. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange also scored a place amongst the world’s most evil men.
“We all know that terrorism is created to cause death, decline and destruction,” said Really Big Coloring Books publisher Wayne Bell in a YouTube video. “In this book, we tell the truth, we tell it often, and we tell the children. We know that America has to take care of our own.”
Though parents may not be so keen on allowing their kids to trade terrorists in the same manner they trade revered baseball players, the book may at least be a way to get kids interested in history.
