Things are getting pretty bad down in Tennessee. By now, we all know about Vince Young’s little temper tantrum on Sunday that led Jeff Fisher to say that, even if Young wasn’t undergoing season-ending surgery on his thumb, he wouldn’t be the starting quarterback of the Titans any longer.
However, owner Bud Adams said recently that Young and Fisher would have to work things out and that Young would be back in 2011, even at his exorbitant $12+ million salary.
And things just got even better (not literally), as Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that Young showed up to the team facility today and was told by a team official to leave.
Young was reportedly visibly upset, but eventually left without incident.
This is shaping up to be a classic “he goes, or I go” situation for Fisher. We aren’t sure why Adams has such a full-on boner for Young, but he clearly still does.
