Authorities have discovered a new lead in the investigation into the recent attacks on Paris, including a room rented out of Appart’City hotel in south-east Paris.
The room was booked by Salah Abdeslam under his own name, reports Mad World news. The room was reportedly used in combination with another safe house rented by the group. Currently, Abdeslam is the most wanted man in the search for the terrorists who attacked Paris residents on Nov. 13.
According to Mad World News, Abdeslam was caught casually walking the streets of Paris following the attacks.
In video footage of the hotel room (below), short needles and a syringe can be seen on a table. There are also plastic tubes scattered on a coffee table. Forensic experts are currently trying to understand if the drugs were used to fuel their killing sprees or make explosive belts.
Some have suggested that the drugs may have been used by the terrorists in order to make them less sensitive to empathy.
The video was released by Le Point, a French newspaper, reports the Mirror.
