A British florist has been arrested after she smashed two luxury cars belonging to her ex-fiancé and his new lover, while her two daughters sat in the back seat.
Scorned Tracey Taylor, 34, of Desoford, Leics, caused more than £13,000 pounds ($19,000) worth of damage when she rammed her own car into her ex’s Porsche. She then smashed into his new girlfriend's BMW before smashing the windscreen with a rock, and scratching the paintwork with her key, the Daily Mirror reports.
Taylor was furious after the breakdown of her 20-year relationship with the father of her two daughters, age 19 and 4, and a 15-year-old son. She claims that her ex had left the family with no money.
She also punched her former partner and his lover and then trashed the woman’s home in Ratby, Leics, two days later, Leicester Crown Court was told.
Taylor admitted to burglary, criminal damage and common assault. She also received a 12-month jail sentence suspended for two years, with 150 hours of unpaid work and a 20-day rehabilitation requirement.
She was given a 5-year restraining order and banned from contacting her ex-lover’s new partner or the woman’s teenage daughter.
“You were unable to control your temper and your appalling behaviour brings discredit upon you,” recorder (or judge) Mark Hill, QC, told Taylor. “You displayed a high level of anger and violence, carried out in the presence of two young children, causing extensive and serious damage.”
