Soccer Player Breaks Goalie's Jaw With His Knee (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Carlos Tevez accidentally broke goalkeeper Ezequiel Unsain's jaw during a soccer match between the Boca Juniors and Newell's Old Boys in Argentina's premier league on Feb. 20 (video below).

Tevez, who plays for Boca, was apparently trying to leap over Unsain when he struck the goalkeeper in the jaw.

While Unsain writhed in pain on the ground, Tevez called medics over to the scene, notes the Mirror.

According to Spanish-language news site Clarin.com, Unsain underwent a two-hour surgery for a double fracture of his lower jaw.

Newell's medical staff said Unsain will be out for 45 days, reported the Mirror.

Tevez also broke Ezequiel Ham's leg in a soccer game in September 2015, reported the Daily Mail.
