Thunder’s Scott Brooks Wins NBA Coach of the Year

| by Off The Record

Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks has been named the NBA’s Coach of the Year after his team finished with 27 more wins (50-32) than the previous year.

Brooks will also be given the NBA’s Thank God Kevin Durant Is On My Team Or I Wouldn’t Have Won The Other Award award on Thursday night when his team faces off against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3. His team is currently down 0-2 and being out-coached by Phil Jackson.

To Brooks’ credit, he does have the youngest roster in the NBA and its very tough to get kids to play NBA-style ball. He’s team should be a force for many years to come.
