Former presidential candidate and Republican congressman Ron Paul, R-Texas, announced today that he was bringing his new Ron Paul Channel to the "freedom movement."
“It’s going to be something like nothing you’ve ever seen before on mainstream media," said Paul in a promotional video, notes The Blaze. "I’m looking forward to it because it gives me the opportunity to do what I really love doing, and that is spreading the message of liberty.”
RonPaulChannel.com states “When the Ron Paul Channel launches, we’ll take mainstream media by storm. No advertisers, no corporate agenda, just the truth delivered exclusively to subscribers like you.”
Actually there is a price for that "liberty," which Paul doesn't mention in his video, a fee of $9.95 per month.
Paul's former presidential campaign was recently in the news.
According to a report by The Iowa Republican, Iowa state Senator Kent Sorenson offered the Ron Paul 2012 presidential campaign an endorsement, large email lists and Michele Bachmann's supporters for $208,000. However, there is no confirmation that Paul's campaign paid off Sorenson, who did endorse Paul.
