Sting And Wife Trudie Like Tawdry Sex. Pic: Harper's Bazaar
Sting and Trudie Styler have revealed the secret to their 30 year relationship. And it’s all about S.E.X. baby. It’s not about you and me, S.E.X., S.E.X. S.E.X. keeps Sting and Trudie happy!
Fun over, you’re waiting for the scandal I know.
The pair, who have been married for 18 years, sat down for an interview and photo shoot with Harper’s Bazaar for its February edition. They opened up about their marital life, and how they keep things spicy in the love department. In the all too-revealing interview they give the lowdown on their NSFW shenanigans.
“We treat every day as it comes,” Sting explains. “Relationships aren’t easy, and I don’t think they’re particularly natural, but we’re lucky because we actually like each other. We love each other - that’s a given – but Trudie lights my world up when she comes into a room. I don’t take her for granted.”
They spend time apart due to their respective careers. Sting is in the throes of completing his world wide Symphocity Tour, while Styler is looking at returning to acting. She has been involved in the production of a number of films and documentaries.
And what happens when they get back together and their worlds collide? “We don’t get bored,” says Styler, 57. “Being apart juices the relationship,” adds Sting, 59 “When we see each other, it’s romance. I don’t think pedestrian sex is very interesting. There’s a playfulness we have; I like the theater of sex. I like to look good. I like her to dress up. I like to dress her up.”
As for romance, are there rose petals on the bed or candles softly aglow? Sting adds bluntly, “Romantic? We like tawdry.”
On a serious note, the couple established the ‘Rainforest Fund’ – a forest conservation fund, which has raised in excess of $28million.
“We don’t want to get on a soapbox and preach about how everything’s going to s**t,” Sting says. “But we have a very established infrastructure, people in the field, programs we finance. In order to raise those funds, we put on entertainment, which is what we do.”

I will pass on the tongue on tongue action. Too much for these innocent eyes!
