| by Michael Allen

For decades the Harlem Globetrotters have entertained crowds with their dazzling trick shots, but one of their players was almost killed during an exhibition game in the Nacional de Ingenieros Coliseum located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Globetrotter William "Bull" Bullard held onto the rim after dunking the ball when the entire basketball goal fell and almost crashed on top of him (video below).

The glass backboard shattered, sending glass flying, notes HarlemGlobetrotters.com.

According to Deadspin.com, Bullard's past experience includes making it to the finals of "American Ninja Warrior "and playing college basketball at Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Bullard got a cut on his forehead and watched the rest of the game from the sidelines, but was not seriously injured, reports Yahoo! Sports.
