Stephen A. Smith spends a lot of his time listening to Skip Bayless talk about sports, so you can’t really blame him for having a brain that doesn’t function the way it should. Honestly, imagine waking up every single morning, going to work, and listening to some old guy purposely troll every sports fan in America while you, the useless sidekick, have to pretend as though you’re taking his idiotic, baseless, and mostly incoherent points seriously.
It’s a tough life. And the fact that Smith has to endure all that on a daily basis explains why he thought an Onion column about him having a sex talk with his fictional son was a real article.

Sensing the 9-year-old is now old enough to engage in a heated debate on the subject, Stephen A. Smith reportedly decided Monday that his son is finally ready for the sex argument. “It’s a big milestone in every father-son relationship to sit your child down and dispute his pathetic ideas about the birds and bees,” said Smith, fondly remembering his own father belligerently talking over him when he got the sex argument as a boy.
