The Philadelphia Eagles got flagged for “disconcerting signals” during their Thursday night showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals. If you have no idea what that is – get in line.
According to Larry Brown Sports, disconcerting signals is when the defense tries to duplicate the offense’s call by copying what the person doing the snap count is doing. That, apparently, is what Philly was trying to do on that sequence in the fourth quarter.
The Eagles were handed a 15-yard penalty for their troubles.
