Tom Brady may be a world-famous athlete now, but that hasn’t always been the case. Once upon a time, when little Tommy was just 21-years-old, he was just another intern at Merrill Lynch.
Brady published his pre-NFL résumé today, and it’s great. Before his accomplishments included super bowl victories and MVP awards, Brady was boasting about his experience working in golf clubhouses.
As round after round of the 2000 NFL draft passed by, Brady started to think he’d be sending that résumé off in hopes of joining the 9-5 workforce like the rest of us.
“Really thought I was going to need this after the 5th round,” Brady wrote in the post. Little did he know that he’d be drafted by the Patriots moments later, and win his first of three Super Bowls soon after.
Forget about Brady’s football accomplishments for a moment and imagine yourself as a prospective employer of recent graduate Thomas E. Brady. Does he get the job?
