Baltimore Ravens pass-rusher Terrell Suggs underwent surgery for his Achilles tear recently.
Suggs is confident that he will return quicker than anyone anticipates.
"There is only a small incision, and he said it was not as bad as some thought it was, which I had already been told," Suggs told the Baltimore Sun.
Suggs says it's still the same prognosis of returning, which is about four-to-six months.
According to a study by American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in 2006, most players return from that specific injury after 11 months. Suggs doesn't doubt himself or his ability to heal quickly, though.
"I'm 29 years old," Suggs told the newspaper. "I don't miss games. I'll be returning soon."
