Michigan Wolverines kicker Brendan Gibbons nailed a clutch game-winner to give his team a 23-20 victory in the 2012 Sugar Bowl. He made the kick with such calm precision, in fact, that after the game reporters just had to know his secret. What was it that allowed him to push all of the pressure aside and just do what he needed to done en route to glory?
As it turns out, the answer was very simple.
“Brunette girls … Everytime we were struggling at kicking, coach always tells me to think about girls on a beach or brunette girls. So that’s what we did and we made the kick."
(Kudos to The Big Lead for the great find)
