The honeymoon is officially over. After coming out of the gate hot, James Harden and Jeremy Lin have stumbled in their last two outings – losing both in pretty unspectacular fashion. The Houston Rockets’ latest home defeat came against an underachieving Denver Nuggets team that had been having a lot of its own problems this season, but that also realized how many huge, exploitable weakness this Houston team has.
Ty Lawson led all players with 21 points, but it was the Nuggets’ balanced attack that really proved to be key in this one. When it was all said and done, six players finished in double figures.
Carlos Delfino led the way for Houston with 19 points off the bench. Harden and Lin had 15 points and six points, respectively.
