San Francisco sports fans celebrated their team’s latest World Series victory by rioting in the streets late Sunday night. While only a small fraction of the 10,000 or so people that gathered to watch the game on big screens in the city's Civic Center area actually participated in the ruckus, it was a big enough group to cause considerable damage.
The festivities lasted into early Monday morning and led to an assortment of injuries and at least one bus being set on fire. According to USA Today, police were able to successfully scatter the rioters by 2:30 a.m.
