You may not have heard of Chicago White Sox pitcher Philip Humber prior to Saturday afternoon, but with one fantastic showing against the Seattle Mariners, the talented right-handed officially etched his name into baseball lore. Humber finished the day with 96 pitches, nine strikeouts and, most importantly, only the 21st perfect game in major league baseball history.
The White Sox ultimately won the game, 4-0.

Humber is now the second White Sox pitcher to throw a perfect game since 2009. Four years ago, Mark Buehrle accomplished the same feat in a victory against the Tampa Bay Rays.
