Martin "The Hitman" Kampmann recently rebounded from a two-fight losing streak by taking out Rick Story via unanimous decision at UFC 139 this past December, but many feel he could and should be riding a three-fight winning streak.
Prior to defeating Story, Kampmann lost two close and controversial decisions to Jake Shields and Diego Sanchez. Considering his history with the judges, The Hitman isn't planning on letting any more of his fights see the final bell, including his impending UFC on FX 2 main event tilt against Thiago Alves.
"It sucks man. It sucks to get screwed by the judges," Kampmann told FightHubTV. "That's why I want to go in there and finish it. When I started fighting I always finished all my fights, you know, but when you get to fighting top-level guys sometimes it can be tough to finish them in those three rounds. But, I'm here to finish people and I'm here to finish Thiago Alves. I'm not going to no more decisions, I'm here to finish people."
Kampmann and Alves are set to tangle on March 3 at UFC on FX 2, which goes down at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia. Check out FightHubTV's full interview with Kampmann below.
