In preparation for the long awaited fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao has been busy training hard but has made time for a fellow Filipino to visit him.
According to Pacquiao’s spokesman Fred Sternburg, Tim Tebow stopped by to see Pacquiao train in his Los Angeles training camp Saturday and stayed to watch him spar for seven rounds.
Tebow, who was born in the Philippines like Pacquiao, is also known for his strong beliefs in Christianity which links him even more to the Filipino fighter. The former Heisman Trophy winner worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles last week, but left without a contract. He did not, however, participate in Sunday’s scouting combine for NFL veterans.
