Bellator 66: Aoki vs. Alvarez Fighter Salaries

MMAJunkie has obtained the list of fighter salaries from last weekend's Bellator 66 event, as released by the Ohio Athletic Commission.

Eddie Alvarez and Shinya Aoki, who competed in the main event of the Cleveland-based fight card, both took home the largest paydays of the night. Alvarez defeated Aoki via first-round TKO.

The card also hosted the promotion's sixth season lightweight and middleweight tournament semi-finals, setting up finals meetings between Rick Hawn and Brent Weedman at lightweight,as well as Maiquel Falcao and Andreas Spang at middleweight.

The full list of disclosed payouts is below.

-Eddie Alvarez ($50,000 + $50,000 win bonus = $100,000) defeated Shinya Aoki ($60,000)
-Andreas Spang ($15,000 + $15,000 win bonus = $30,000) defeated Brian Rogers ($15,000)*
-Maiquel Falcao ($15,000 + $15,000 win bonus= $30,000) defeated Vyacheslav Vasilevsky ($15,000)
-Rick Hawn ($15,000 + $15,000 win bonus = $30,000) defeated Lloyd Woodard ($15,000)
-Brent Weedman ($15,000 + $15,000 win bonus = $30,000) defeated Thiago Michel ($15,000)
-Jessica Eye ($3,500 + $3,500 win bonus = $7,000) defeated Anita Rodriguez ($2,000)
-John Hawk ($1,500 + $1,500 win bonus = $3,000) defeated Marcus Vanttinen ($2,000)
-Attila Vegh ($3,000 + $3,000 win bonus = $6,000) defeated Dan Spohn ($1,800)
-Frank Carabello ($1,800 + $1,800 = $3,600) defeated Donny Walker ($1,500)
-Julian Lane ($700 + $700 win bonus = $1,400) defeated Joe Heiland ($1,250)

*Spang was fined twenty percent of his purse ($6,000) for starting an in-cage altercation with Falcao.
