As part of a social experiment, a young woman plainly asked men she met on the street for sex. She was rejected by half of the men she propositioned.
Andrea, the woman, approached 14 men and asked them, “Do you want to have sex with me?” for a YouTube video entitled “Asking Guys for Sex: A Social Experiment,” according to the Daily Mail.
Andrea wore a tight, cropped black T-shirt and high-waisted jean shorts as she propositioned the men on the street.
Seven of the men accepted the offer, but some still appeared hesitant even as they agreed to have sex with her.
“Are you out of your mind?” asked one of the men who eventually took her up on her offer. “Have you been drinking?”
One of the men wanted to get to know her for a short time before having sex.
“Do you want to hang out with us first?” he said.
But Andrea declined his offer to spend time together first.
“Not really,” she said. “It will be really quick, like fifteen minutes.”
The man agreed to have sex with her anyway, but said he hoped she wasn’t trying to rob him.
Only one of the propositioned men agreed to her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
“I will have sex with you right now,” he said. “I’m serious.”
Andrea’s behavior led to multiple awkward moments between her and the men.
One of the men ended a phone call with his mother when Andrea asked him for sex.
“Mom, I'll have to call you back,” he said. Afterwards, he declined Andrea’s offer.
Another man reacted more extremely to Andrea than all the others, as he called the police on her outside a grocery store and told her she was headed to jail.
