A worker in the United Arab Emirates is in critical condition after his stomach was ruptured in a warehouse accident caused by a coworker’s prank.
The 29-year-old man from Bangladesh and his coworker were playing pranks on one another in the Sharjah Industrial Area when the accident happened, according to the Gulf News.
One of the coworkers inserted an air pressure hose into the other’s backside, when the force exerted by the hose ruptured the worker’s stomach.
The coworker who played the prank was arrested and charged with putting others’ lives at risk.
The injured man was taken to the local Al Qasimi Hospital and went into surgery immediately.
