Worker at Chinese Nursing Home Cut Off Four Patients’ Testicles Because They Ate All the Stew

A Chinese care worker allegedly cut off four patients’ testicles after they didn’t share their meatball stew with him.

The 46-year-old care worker, Wang Fan, was described as “mentally disabled.” Fan had been given a job at the care home, where, in exchange for helping to feed the patients and clean the home, he was given a place to sleep.

Part of his work arrangement was that he was allowed to eat the leftover food after the home’s patients had been fed.

Thus, after the patients polished off an entire meatball casserole last week, Fan was left without.

According to police, Fan extracted his revenge by tying down four of the patients in his care and cutting off their testicles with a razor blade.

Victim Chi Liang, 62, who lost both of his testicles, said, “I thought he was tying me down because of some medical procedure but then I realized actually something was wrong and I yelled and screamed, but nobody came."

By the time Fan was discovered and stopped by staff, Liang and another 70-year-old man had lost both their testicles; two other men, ages 81 and 53, lost one testicle each.

Police noted that Fan had been drinking and that he reportedly planned to cook and eat the testicles, which he is believed to have thought had medicinal properties.

The publically owned home where the incident occurred is in the north-eastern province of Heilongjiang, and is home to 165 people, all of whom are either impoverished rural elders or mentally handicapped.

Local reporters who visited the site reported that the rooms were crowded and smelly, and that many patients had not bathed for months.

In fact, the standard of care was so poor that the 70-year-old victim, having been left in his bloodstained bed, was reportedly only discovered the day after the attack.

According the Daily Mirror, police in China have arrested a man on suspicion of castrating or partially castrating four patients at the nursing home.

Daily Mail Online reports that all four of the victims remain hospitalized but are out of danger.
