Do you know that feeling when you're sure you forgot to do something, but you just can’t figure out what it was? Well, for one truck driver who probably felt that very feeling recently, his forgetfulness led to a hilarious photo that’s quickly gone viral after being posted on Reddit.
In the now viral image, a motorist is seen snapping a picture of the scene in the Rotterdam harbor where a truck driver’s entire truck was lifted onto what appears to be a ship that’s set to be transported somewhere else. The driver clearly forgot to unhitch the actual container from the truck itself, and when the container was lifted in the air to be placed with the others, the entire truck itself wound up going with it.
“Truck driver forgot to uncouple the container on his trailer in the Rotterdam harbor last night,” reads the Reddit post’s caption.
Commenters on Reddit seem to be having a field day since the photo was first posted earlier today.
“The truck looks disappointed in itself,” jokes Reddit user jazzermurphy.
“Sometimes Optimus Prime wants to take the elevator too,” joked another user.
Others, however, seriously wondered how the person operating the crane didn’t notice that they were lifting the entire truck.
“So my new question is, how did the crane operator not notice?” Reddit user arksien asked. “Shouldn't they be able to very clearly see the area and the object they are lifting? If yes, then they're an ass and/or this is staged. If not, that's dangerous as f**k.”
Since being published on Reddit early Wednesday by user iBleedorange, the post has already garnered over 4,500 points.
