A New Jersey teacher who admitted to sending dirty pictures and texts and having sex with a student in 2014 has officially lost her teaching license in April.
Nicole McDonough, 33, was reportedly caught sending risque photos and dirty text messages to a student.
In February, she pleaded guilty to a second-degree official misconduct charge. As a result, she was spared from jail time but was admitted into a pre-trial intervention program, NJ.com notes.
Prosecutors were originally looking to send McDonough to prison for five years after her December 2014 arrest but because she was entered into the intervention program, she received a maximum 36-month term in the program, with no jail time.
The teacher reportedly had sex with the student at her home in Mount Olive on May 31, 2014, the day after the school's senior prom. In February, she admitted to having sex with the student twice between May 1 and June 20, 2014.
A student, whose identity has not been revealed, contacted BroBible saying that he was a student who had sex with McDonough and that he had the photos to prove it.
The student sent screenshots of sexual text conversations allegedly between him and the teacher, plus screenshots of Snapchats from McDonough and photos from her now-deleted Instagram account that he followed.
