Philadelphia Cop Threatens Black Residents, Knocks Over Basketball Hoop (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Philadelphia police officer Philip Nace was recently caught on video breaking a basketball hoop in the street and was filmed in September harassing black residents.

After tearing down the $450 basketball hoop for no reason, Officer Nace gets into a police van with his partner and drives by the cameraman (video below).

"Have a good day," Officer Nace says sarcastically, while his partner adds, "Jesus loves you."

The basketball hoop incident follows another incident last month in which Nace confronted two African-American men (video below).

Officer Nace threatens one with the comment "split your wig open" and calls the other a "f------ dirty ass.

"We don't want you here, anyway. All you do is weaken the f------ country," Officer Nace says in the video.

"It's not something that's going to be tolerated," Lt. John Stanford, of the Philadelphia Police Department, told Philly.com. "The fact that a second video was brought to our attention, there are obviously some issues here."

"We can assure the public that he is off the street. What you see in those two videos is certainly not what we teach," added Lt. Stanford. "It takes away from all the good things we've been doing as a department. Our crime numbers are down, but all of that is overshadowed when you have someone conduct themselves like this."

Officer Nace has been placed on administrative duties while an internal investigation is conducted, reports the Daily Mail.
