Naked bathers were forced to flee the scene after a fire ripped through a bathhouse in east China last night. All in all, at least one person was killed and six others were injured as a result of what happened.
According to The Daily Mail, the bathers were forced to evacuate the Leqing, Zhejiang province locale after a fire that started in a neighboring apartment spread down the street. A broken gas pipe is believed to have triggered the initial blast.
“One minute I was soaking in the tub, the next I could smell smoke and hear screams,” one customer said of the incident.
“There was no time to get my clothes. I just ran for my life,” he added.
Said an official to TDM: “The fire spread very rapidly and we were lucky that more people didn't die.”
