A man was struck by a New York City subway Tuesday afternoon at the 23rd Street Station. Officers at the scene said the person hit was a male, but have not supplied any further information about his current situation.
According to Business Insider, emergency services drove the ambulance uptown and spoke of "head trauma."
The incident has spread over Twitter, and NYCT Subway Service tweeted that the man was injured:
Power on the local track has been shut off, and uptown 6 trains are running express between 14 and 42 Streets due to "police investigation."
All other trains are running normally.
